Early and Absentee Voting
Anyone can vote from home by requesting an absentee ballot. More information and the absentee request form can be found at the Board of Elections Website.
You can also vote early and in person at the Board of Elections, located at the Butler County Board of Elections, 1802 Princeton Road, Suite 600, Hamilton, OH 45011. Early voting dates and times for the November general election can be found by clicking here.

Important Dates:
- Military & Overseas Absentee Voting: Begins September 19
- Deadline to Register to Vote: October 6 (Boards open until 9:00 p.m.)
- Early In-Person Voting: October 7 and includes the Saturday and the Sunday before Election Day.
- Absentee Voting By Mail: Begins October 7
- Election Day: November 4 (Polls Open 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.) If not returned by mail, absentee ballots must be received by your board of elections by 7:30 p.m.
